Just when I was about to call it a day (and the year), this shows up
on the door.
And it’s not even mine but the good thing is that I get to play with
it for a few days.

US Return
When the locals drink bottled water, its precaution against all the crud in the local water supply at restaurants. When you drink bottled water, its because you are “US return”.
Double standards are so rampant, its not funny. Bottled water thing is just a tip of the iceberg (frozen tap water I say).
Vacation. Right!
I so wish for that thing called vacation when I don’t have to work for a single day.

We were at the railway station yesterday to see off someone and look
what we bought. These used to be a major highlight of every train
journey as a kid. Probably for the first hour during which I would
finish reading it front to back.
